Improve the standard of your drawings remarkably by only using your right-brain
[info]francisblinging
By consciously making the choice to switch to the right half of the brain when drawing will immeasurably improve the quality of your work.

What is the reasoning behind deliberately choosing to switch to the right side ?

As a practicing psychologist, the subject of the brain is fascinating to me and the manner in which it works gives us the explanation as to why it makes a huge difference to the quality of our drawings. It lies in the way each side of the brain functions completely differently to the other. Both sides are in fact independent brains and can communicate to the other half, but does not need to do so for it to complete whatever task is being tackled .

The left half of our brain deals with logic, language and our analytical functions. Whereas, the right side deals with our emotions, intuition, images and is responsible for all our creative functions. The left side is normally pretty accurate but compared to the right is a bit of a snail. The reason that it is very slow is because the evaluation process is of a linear nature, thinking through an ordered list of the information to hand, just one step at a time. This is in contrast to the breathtaking speed of the right brain where the process is more of a holistic nature, giving an almost immediate result.

When you encounter people that you have never met before, your right brain working at incredible speed will instantly give you an "emotional credit check" of that person. Depending on the outcome of that check, your emotions will reflect a level of safety or threat, a feeling of like or dislike and a whole bunch of information to decide how to respond to that person. It is not unusual for those feelings to be invoked before that person has even spoken to you. This is your right brain working behind the scenes in one super fast holistic scan.

I am sure that you have heard it said that a picture is worth a 1000 words. In the context of what we are talking about, you can easily see how heavily we are influenced by those different thinking processes from a drawing perspective.

Let me illustrate the point I am trying to make. Just take any picture or photograph and gaze at it for a few seconds and then close your eyes to recall it. In that short space of time your, using your right brain you would have absorbed an amazing amount of detail. Now try to verbalise that information to someone who cannot see that image. For you to be able to do this, you would need to switch to your left brain with it's language ability and I am sure that you can acknowledge what a mammoth task that would be and most likely very incomplete.
With that in mind it is easy to see why it is beneficial to ensure that you are using the right brain for your creative work, whether that is drawing, painting, sculpture or any other form of artistic expression. The logic being that the right side is far more accurate in its attention to detail and with vastly superior speeds. This is notably reflected when attempting to draw what you see before you. The reason behind this is the right brain's superior ability to deal accurately with 3D perspectives, while the left-brain is only really happy with 2D images such as geometric shapes.

House Painting Contractor Shearer Painting a Seattle and Tacoma companyconsults design quality paint
[info]francisblinging
Lead paint has been putting homeowners' and manufacturers' health and lives at risk for years. It wasn't until the 20th century that the hazards of lead paint were realized; the U.S. government banned its use or sale in 1978. Unfortunately, many American homes and schools still have lead paint in their walls. And while renovating, repairing, or painting your home can be an exciting time, it can also be a dangerous one – it can turn existing lead paint into dust that children or adults can inhale quite easily. Certified Lead Paint Renovator methods are increasingly effected by lead paint. This is why the Environmental Protection Agency has a new certification policy that requires renovation, repair, and painting RRP workers to take specialized training and use "lead-safe" practices on jobsites. RRP workers agree: it's a long overdue and important safety measure.
The EPA's Lead-Safe Certification Program, published in 2008, took effect April 2010. The program requires RRP workers, when working with lead paint in schools, child-care centers, or homes built before 1978, to be certified in lead paint removal. The EPA also began a PR campaign to encourage consumers to only go with certified RRP firms. The agency estimates that over 200,000 United States renovators will have done work on pre-1978 buildings within one year of the program's inception.
Lead paint that is in technically "good shape" will only harm humans when removed in the wrong way. Lead paint dust or chips are more likely to be on the areas of your house that get the most use, i.e., doors, stairs, windowsills, and porches. When a RRP worker sands, scrapes, or heats an area with lead paint, it can turn it into particle matter that hangs out in the air.
Another air of lead paint concern that homeowners may not know about is the dirt around your house. The ground can absorb lead paint bits from exterior siding, and dust inside the residence may include a high amount of lead. Children that may have prolonged exposure from lead should be taken to the doctor immediately to get a blood test.
Landlords of buildings built before 1978 are now required by the EPA to discuss possible lead paint present in the building with potential renters and owners; this information must also be listed on the lease agreement. If someone is sell a building built before 1978, they also have to provide lead paint details to all parties in the decision-making process toward making a purchase. A seller or buyer may request a paint inspection if they're unsure whether or not the building contains lead.
The Lead-Safe Certification Program may seem to be fear-mongering to some, but it wasn't developed by the government just to inquire into a homeowners' private life. If a child is exposed to lead paint, he or she can have behavioral problems, learning disabilities, and compromised intelligence; symptoms may not be present until the damage done is irreversible. A child's developing body is more prone to lead poisoning than an adults', and it takes a greater toll. Lead poisoning in children is preventable, but it unfortunately still affects over one million kids.
Lead paint is also harmful to pregnant women. If an expecting mom-to-be inhales lead dust, her fetus may be in danger. If adults are exposed to lead dust, it can cause hypertension, nerve damage, declined concentration and memory, reproductive issues, and paint in muscles or joints. About two-thirds of American homes were built before 1978, so the EPA's new program is extremely important current issue.
RRP workers who practice lead-safe procedures are not only protecting clients but also themselves. Protective clothing and facemasks should be employed as well as plastic sheeting to contain a work area. Workers should also take regular blood tests.
While it's true that the practices demanded by the EPA's certification program cost RRP companies more than the old, unsafe methods did, it's important for RRP workers to follow the new rules. A lead-safe job costs between $8 and $167 more. Exterior projects that need vertical containment will cost more. Because these extra expenses on the contractor's part may cost the customer more, some homeowners and landlords may want to do these improvements themselves; it spares them having to follow the EPA's rules to the letter, but it would be unwise to ignore them. An aspect of the program that should be followed to the letter is to sandblast lead paint only at low power and to seal vents, faucets, and drains when going through the paint removal process; otherwise, the lead dust could filter into your home.
To apply for certification, a company needs to fill out a form and pay a $300 fee. The company's employees then take eight hours of training, two of which are hands-on. The EPA provides accredited instructors to give proper training, and some contractors may serve as trainers in their area. Presently, hundreds of approved trainers reside in the United States, and each one determines his or her training fees. After being trained, RRP workers will lessen the quantity of lead dust produced on each job, effectively contain their work area, and clean up completely after a job is finished. The RRP workers also prepare the homes before starting work and notify the owners about safety concerns during the process of renovating their home.
Lead paint certification by the EPA for removal is valid for up to five years. If your RRP company isn't yet certified, contact the EPA as soon as possible. Learning online is a great option. Training materials are available in English as well as Spanish and inform the worker about dust containment, prep, proper clean-up and much more. Small jobs or, jobs that disturb less than 6 sq. ft. of interior paint or 20 sq. ft. of exterior paint don't have to follow the new rules. Tribes and states may invent their own lead-safe practices, but they should be equivalent to the federal ones.
A contractor should provide the EPA's pamphlet on lead dangers to a customer. Customers have the right to see a company's certification and/or receive a copy of it; the company should also explain the lead-safe practices it uses on individual jobs. Contractors should have at least three references based on pre-1978 jobs and should have a record of all major details in relation to their employees' training in lead-safe practices.
If you choose to hire an uncertified RRP company, know that it isn't worth it; you'd be putting yourself and others at risk, and your contractor would risk large fines as much as $37,500/violation/day or even jail time. If you're still uncertain about the EPA's lead-safe program, call 1-800-424-LEAD; you may also search for a firm in your area by going to the EPA website.
Lead paint dangers should not be taken lightly. The EPA is just trying to live up to what the "P" in its name stands for. It's now the consumers' choice to demand the safest possible work practices, and to the contractors to become certified and use only EPA-regulated practices. If we all work together, we can be sure that we'll create a safer environment for the future.

The Advantages of Restoring Antique Furniture

There is nothing like an antique piece of furniture to bring charm and style to a home. Antique furniture is high-quality and the craftsmanship is top-notch. These pieces can be used in any style home. In a traditional home, they fit right in. In a contemporary space, they create an interesting juxtaposition by combining old with new. Before they are incorporated into the home they should be properly restored and refinished to extend the life of the piece and make their beauty shine.

Even though antique pieces of furniture are made with strong materials and built well, they wear down after years of use. General wear and tear on the item will cause frames to loosen and the overall construction to become weak. The first step in this type of restoration is tightening everything so that the furniture will continue to last far into the future.

The finest pieces are made from wood. They are hand-made and often show off the artisan's skills with their intricate carved details. Because wood is easy to damage, it will begin to scratch, dent, and chip over time. These signs of aging can be charming, but if they are severe enough then they should be fixed. A sanding and staining process is necessary for bringing the piece back to life.

The last stage of the process is applying a thick, clear top coat. The seal holds in the stain for an appearance that is rich and long-lasting. It also protects the piece from future damage, which ultimately extends its life span. This is vital to ensure that you actually get the proper lifespan out of the furniture and that you are not simply wasting your money.

Antique furniture just needs a little bit of care and it can easily become your favorite piece in the entire house. Understanding the needs of each individual piece and restoring it accordingly is all it takes to mix the old with the new in the modern world. This process creates beautiful results that will be enjoyed by anyone who enters the home for a very long time.

Trading Foreign exchange on Google
[info]francisblinging
Okeh everybody; astonishingly, volatile session today for that Euro. One would check out, coming from the European session, we have the British pound going down very vigorously, and afterwards returning to for another retracement. If you are up and browsing for the trade, coming to the nine o' clock hour here roughly; really about eight o' clock in the morning, we had a major spring back, all in all this little dipper confirmation, over the prior defense. For that reason, I'll dash here inside 15 minute chart. We had a really nice three3 bar reversal. But sadly, it triggered to the upside before buying it, and thus stopped out, triggering at the downside. Absolutely the reason that I shouldn't approve of trading in a single direction, especially for three bar reversals.

Rotomolding
[info]francisblinging
A Brief Overview Of The Rotational Moulding Process

For many business owners who invent or design products, the use of rotational moulding can be a cost effective and efficient way to get the greatest return on their products and maintain the quality of their products. While most people are familiar with the resulting products that are manufactured with this process, few know how the tasks are accomplished. In addition, for a business owner that markets to a global customer base, the reduction in shipping costs can dramatically customers and profits.

A great advantage of using this process is that there is no need to produce numerous parts for a product. The mould that is designed creates the base and parts of the product at the same time. This keeps the density and color of the product consistent and reduces assembly time because all parts are the same size. There are many different types of resin and plastic that can be used for production depending on the item being produced.

Consistency is especially important for products such as the Cellofoam Garage Door Insulation kits which have grown in popularity over the past few years. These kits contain everything that is needed to make installation of the product easy. A homeowner can install the product without any assistance in a few hours because they are lightweight and easy to handle.

The panels are made using a high quality expanded Polystyrene core which is then laminated with a high impact Styrene on the exposed side. The Styrene can be manufactured in any color and quantity. The process includes placing the Polystyrene in the mould that is secured and rotated as heating begins. The arm on the equipment rotates the mould horizontally and vertically on an axis that moves smoothly and continuously over the entire process.

As the Polystyrene melts, it covers the mould evenly and at the same thickness. This prevents faults or bubbles from forming in the core of the product. When the Polystyrene reaches the proper thickness, the equipment is transferred to a cooling location where it is allowed to cool while being rotated simultaneously. After the product has become completely hardened and cooled, it is moved to the staging location where it then undergoes the lamination process with the Styrene and is sealed.

In addition to being light-weight, the insulation is durable and sturdy. It decreases the loss of heat from a home through the garage and increases energy efficiency significantly. As an added benefit, the product meets all of the regulations and standards that are needed for a homeowner to gain the benefits of governmental tax credits.

Cellofoam products are available in a wide assortment of products including flotation devices, mailboxes and other products that must be durable and resistant to environmental elements and corrosive chemicals. An individual who wants to increase their production and profit margin will find that discussing their requirements with a professional who is knowledgeable about the process of rotational moulding will help them to make a knowledgeable decision about the easiest way to incorporate this process into their manufacturing plans.

My wife, daughter and I have an all time favorite Italian restaurant that we call "Vincenzo's". Neve
[info]francisblinging

One of the most important steps is getting your restaurant Equipment and supplies. This is not just about buying the cheapest equipment that comes your way. It's chicken feed. For example, a Chinese restaurant will need different kind of equipment when compared to a Mexican restaurant. It is a small device that will ensure that your guests do not have to listen to their name being hollered over a megaphone.

Don't let faulty equipment ruin your chances. Whenever you add or subtract anything from the menu, have an idea that it may need a change in equipment as well or not. Whatever you need you must first consider the financial aspect of it. Now you have to consider the space available for equipment.

Small space would never give ease or comfort to your cooks which may affect the food quality. Some commercial restaurant equipment dealers sell things at a higher price as compared to others while there are some who offer free repair and replacement of the restaurant equipment. Of course, equipment only falters during your rush on Friday night; just before the weekend when repairs are hard to arrange. Why does my new oven Garland Parts mell like electric burning. Besides the operational and customer service issues, time spent working on equipment, securing repairs and waiting on parts and service can waste many hours that could be spent in a more productive way.

From these four, it is the budget that will determine how much you are willing to spend during start-up. Giving some quality time to this task would result in huge savings. So, a market research will let you all about the different commercial restaurant equipment dealers and you'll have a free hand to pick a dealer who is giving you maximum benefits and maximum services against a fair price. You have some decisions to make before you start looking.

How fast do I need the equipment? This allows them to offer bigger discounts to their customers who also make purchases in bigger volumes. Never, no matter how good the bargain is, buy restaurant equipment over the internet unless you understand the shipping and setup costs. For instance, 220 volt electrical connections may have different phases.

Buying new equipment is less of a gamble than used, but you pay handsomely for the luxury of a long term warranty and a more reliable device. It's autumn in her mouth and all her tongue can do is rustle! When we needed an element for it, no one stocked the part.
